Creamy Blender Tomato Sauce
Ingredients:
1 box of Banza chickpea pasta, or pasta of choice
3/4 cup raw cashews
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
2 cloves garlic
25 oz jar of pasta sauce
Directions:
Begin by cooking pasta according to package directions.
Add raw cashews, nutritional yeast, and garlic to a high speed blender. Once your pasta is almost cooked (about 2 minutes left), collect 3/4 cup of pasta water and add to the blender with your other ingredients. Blend until very smooth.
Pour a jar of your favorite tomato sauce into the blender with the cashew cream. Blend again, until well combined.
Pour over your cooked pasta and enjoy!
